Multistate Compliance, Part I: When Managing Remote Employees, One Size Does Not Fit All

In the first part of our Multistate Compliance webinar series, the speakers will discuss key issues for employers with remote workers. The speakers will explore best practices for general remote work policies, discuss how policies for in-office employees and remote workers overlap, and highlight considerations for individualized plans/policies for employees who are working from home. The speakers also will cover some of the legal ramifications associated with remote workers such as tax consequences, unemployment insurance implications, workers’ compensation, anti-discrimination laws, drug testing, workplace safety, wage and hour, and paid leave.
